Baby Shower

This weekend I went to baby shower, which is a party for pregnant women before give a birth. The party is secret for the future mother. It is organized by her friends. In my country the present for the baby are given after it is born, but in Canada this happen before the baby is born, which I thing is better because the mother have time for this party before the baby is born. Also she can see what also she need to by for the baby.

My brother.

My brother is 3 years bigger than me and we have very strong relationship. We are very good friends, but we are very different. We don’t even look like a brother and sister. First, I have blond hair, but he has dark hair. Also, I have blue eyes, but he has brawn eyes. Even the color of the skin are different he has much darker skin then I have. When we first meet somebody he or she can believe that we are brother and sister. They think that we are joking. We just don’t have the same genies. Even thought, we don’t look like we have the same interests and we have great time together.

My Eastern thoghts

My family was busy with Eastern preparation this weekend. On Saturday we went to visit one of our Bulgarian friends to color eggs in order to be funnier for the kids. Also, we made something called Kozunak, which is like sweet bread. On Sunday started broke the eggs, ate the Kozunak. Usually all the family is together and celebrates this day. Then we went to the Church, which was my first time sins I came to Canada. It was Orthodox Church, which I used to go in my country. But I find something very strange for me. The people there were dressed like for wedding, there were a tables with food, people were talking each other, they weren’t actually because of the church and God, instead of seeing and showing the new dress. This made me feel very uncomfortable and I came up with same questions. Why the people go to the Church? Do they really need a Church if they believe in their hearts? From my experience people go to the Church to meet with God only if they have big problem and pray for help. We never go to the Church to say “Thank you God”. So the energy of the Church is negative. I don’t usually go very often to the Church, but I am religious person. I cannot find God there. I don’t need to go to the Church to see God. I can see God in the sky, in the ocean, in the trees, in others people and I never feel like I really need to go in same building to do this. For me the Church is only institution and the people there are working for money, not servant of God.

Animal communication

I believe that animals can “talk”, but they have their own languages and different way for communication. And I was so happy to read that this is scientifically proven. Maybe they don’t communicate like we do, but they can transfer the information from one to another. Animals use different kind of body language, sounds and even smell messages. Every species have their own kind of communication. All dogs express their felling and wish in the same way. All the cats do the same when they are hungry or happy. All the chimps smile when they are afraid, or nervous. They are so smart that they can use many different symbols and pronounce human words or, even sentences.
My question is how the dogs in US and Europe learn to communicate the same way? Do they know that they are dogs and all over the world the dog behave in the same way? Haw this happen? I have read that the scientist made experiment and show to the one monkey that the fruits can be washed before eat it. And after one week all the monkeys wash the fruits before they eat it. On the next mounts the monkeys from the other islands do the same thing. Haw they the information can go so faster? Haw the monkey from different islands can know that is happened? I had a dog and she knew that we were talking for her before even said her name. She came and behave that she know that we were saying .If was good she came and show happiness, but if we said that she did something bed she just stayed and looked at us with sad eyes. She knew that I was thinking to go for a walk before I said and do anything. She went and took her leash and show me to not forget for about her. I started wonder can she read my thoughts? I have heard about many animals that they start worried before earthquakes. Haw they do that? And we thing we are smarter.

My family in the swimming pool

Last weekend we went to the swimming poll with my family. It was reining, so we couldn’t go out. My kinds like to go to the swimming pool. They are always exiting about it. After that they are talking all week abut it. I like swimming eater. I live the kinds with my husband on the small pool and go swimming, or slide on the big slide. I love speedy slides. I feel like a kid again. We usually take turns with my husband, so he can do the same. In our family we are divided on small kinds and the bigger ones. The small kids stay in the small pool with the small slide and the bigger kids, I and my husband, go to the big slide. After all my kids were very tired, so they took long nap and I had time to rest also. All my family were having fun in the swimming pool.

Differences in Education Systems

Bulgarian education system is very similar to Canadian one. Although, they have many differences. First off all, the Bulgarian education is very cheap. For example, the high school is absolutely free and the Government Universities is almost free, or very cheap. So, everybody can afford. However, all the Universities have very hard incoming exam. Each University has own speared one. Next, Bulgarian schools do not have electives. This means that all the students have the same subjects and they do not have chose for them. It doesn’t matters what they are interested in, or do not interested in. Also, In Bulgarian schools students never eat in class rooms. There are special places for eating in the breaks. They buy from there foods and drinks. Students never bring from home food.

On the other hand, Canadian education is very expensive, because same high schools are paid and all the Universities are very expensive. The students usually have to take students loan if they want to study. Only few can afford to pay the tuition by them self. Even though the education is expensive is easy to get into the University because there is no incoming exam. Unlike Bulgarian schools, Canadians one offers elective subjects. The basic subjects are the same, but mostly you can chose to study what you are interested in. Finally, in Canada students often eat in the class rooms and they usually bring food from home. The mothers always have to worry to prepare the food for school to their children. Even though, Canadian and Bulgarian education system are different , we have to respect both.

Haw to Made Homemade Yogurt

How to Make Homemade Yogurt
This recipe is for those who want to try a homemade yogurt. It is my way to do it. First person who discovered haw to made yogurt was from Bulgaria. And the people named the bacteria lactobacillus bulgaricus. First, you need 4 liters organic milk and 1 good quality yogurt. Also, make sure you have enough glass jars or containers. Second, put the milk into a big pan and heat it on the stove to boiling temperature on low temperature. Next, let milk cool until 40 degrees. Third, take two spoon of yogurt and stir with the milk. Next, put mixture into the glass jars or the containers. Cover the jars with two blankets and live it on the worm place to keep the temperature as much as possible. Don’t open or move for 12 hours. After 12 hours put the jars in to a fridge; it is ready to eat it.
Bon apetit!

My Olympic Experience

I was lucky to be part of Olympic Games. I worked at the curling. I met many friends all over the word and I had great opportunity to practice my English. Now I feel more confidence. Also I learned a lot for Canadian culture. The people there were very friendly and exiting. I was on the curling when Canada won gold medal. People was pretty quiet, but proud about it.
